Die ÖSD A1 German test
We offer appointments for the A1 German test almost every week in Vienna 1170. You will receive the examination result after 3 working days. You will receive the certificate after about two weeks.
Die ÖSD A1 German test costs 130 €.

The ÖSD A1 exams take place at Ottakringer Straße 42, 1170 Vienna, unless otherwise indicated. Written and oral exam on the same day.
The model test A1 German
Before you register for the exam, you should try the ÖSD Model Test A1. If you struggle with the test, you can attend our A1 German course.
The ÖSD A1 German Certificate
For the first residence permit (Aufenthaltstitel) in Austria, knowledge of German language at level A1 is required. The ÖSD A1 certificate (Österreichisches Sprachdiplom, engl: Austrian Language Diploma) is accepted by the MA35 Magistrat für Einwanderung und Staatsbürgerschaft (Magistrate for Immigration and Citizenship) and the district authorities.
Registration and Information
For registration or free consultation please visit us at Ottakringer Straße 42, 1170 Vienna. To get to us, take trams 44 (Yppengasse), or 43 (Palffygasse) or the underground U6 (Station Josefstädter Straße). The office is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. You can come without an appointment.
